  • Why Choose Us?
When selecting an In-Home Care Provider for a loved one, there are many very important questions that should be asked to assure that the proper provider is selected to meet the client’s care needs.
  • Is there a Licensed Nurse Supervisor?
Yes, there are Registered Nurses (RN’s) on Staff, who make supervisory visits to the client to assure that care is proper and safe. While this is not required in all cases under GA Licensing Rules, it is a Care By Your Side policy that all in home personal care is Nurse Supervised.
  • How does the agency screen/select caregivers?
Care By Your Side does a Personal Interview/Orientation and also does a Skills Check, Reference Checks and Criminal Records Check. We also require caregivers to have TB clearance, First-aid and CPR training.
  • Does provider have a Quality Assurance Plan?
Yes, Care By Your Side has a quarterly assurance review which includes written comments from Client’s, phone call documentation, and the routine Nurse Supervisory notes.
  • Is there a written plan of care for each client?
A Care By Your Side Supervisory CNA develops an individualized and completely confidential Plan of Care for each client. The purpose is to document the type of care services needed and when the client would like to initiate care. Once the client and family members, and local office, agrees on the Plan of Care, the office staff will use that information to recommend the caregiver who will be delivering the service, establish the schedule and agree to the monitoring and communication.
  • Do you provide services to those in nursing homes or assisted living communities?
Yes, Care By Your Side can provide companionship or personal care to residents at assisted living communities and nursing homes who may desire additional attention or personalized care.
  • Are services available 24 hours, 7 days a week?
Yes, Care By Your Side services are available for as little as a few hours a visit up to 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
  • What if my Care By Your Side Caregiver is sick or on vacation?
Care By Your Side employs a team of caregivers so that your care service will not be interrupted if someone gets sick or goes on vacation. If your caregiver is unavailable, the Supervisory CNA will arrange another caregiver and will contact you in advance of the change. The Supervisory CNA will also introduce the interim caregiver to you and review your Plan of Care with the interim caregiver prior to service. Our goal is to ensure that services are provided as expected. Your safety and security are a top priority.
